Is your screen getting scratched up? You should protect your device if you notice it getting scratched. This protects your iPad, because the last thing you want is your crystal-clear screen becoming marred with annoying scratches.
You can use iPad to listen to iTunes. If you already have an iTunes account and songs in it, and don't want to download them again, you have an easy solution. Just allow "Home Sharing" on the iPad and iTunes. The last step is going to the shared area of your Music app to play them. Now you just have to listen!
You cannot move from day-to-day by swiping on the calendar. To look at a certain date, try using the navigation bar that is near the bottom of your screen. The present date is rendered in blue, and easily noticeable.

Make use of tabs to multitask Internet surfing. For example, there are ways to keep a page you are viewing when you want to open a link. Rather than tap the link, push down on it and options will appear. Next, open up the link with a new tab. This will let you keep the page you are on and open a new one.
"Ding!" Does the chiming of your iPad whenever you receive another email drive you crazy? Were you aware that this feature can be disabled? Just select your Settings button and then General after that. Finally, click on the Sounds option. You will be able to turn the sound off here or adjust the volume.
The iPad is great for music, but are you aware of podcasts? They allow you to access a radio clip on just about anything you can think of. You might try listening to a podcast instead of music on your way to work. Since podcasts encompass a wide variety of topics, you're sure to find one which interests you.

You can give podcasts to people you know without causing any stress for yourself. You can share a podcast that you're currently listening to without having to stop it first. Just tap Email during the podcast. You will then be able to choose your recipients and send your podcast.
You can set parental controls if you let the whole family use the iPad. Choose enable restrictions in your settings and your children will not have access to the content marked as mature. You still have to watch your kids as they use it, though.
Keep your kids safe when they use your tablet to go online. Set the parental controls by going into the settings and choosing General > Restrictions. Once in the Restrictions, tap the Enable Restrictions option. That way, you can keep your kids away from adult-oriented material. Adult content in videos, websites and shows will be restricted.

If WiFi join notifications annoy you, simply get rid of them. An option that asks you if you want to join networks exists and it can be changed. Choose it and you won't have to worry about so many notification.
Do you hate not knowing exactly where hyperlinked words lead? Although you cannot hover over the text to reveal its URL, you can touch and hold the text. Just touch the word and hold it. This will mimic the hovering action that you would do on a computer. The URL associated with the hyperlink will be displayed.
Do you just hate knowing how much charge remains in your iPad battery? It may be useful to know that they are easy to turn off. Begin by going to your iPad's Settings. Look under General to find Usage. Access the Usage menu and turn off the display for battery percentage.

Double-click the Home button to access all apps that are currently running. That will give you a bar that includes all the running apps, and you can access them by pressing on the icon in the bar. This lets you keep an eye on what's running on your iPad and close unneeded apps to free up RAM.

Is there anything more annoying than accidentally launching a seriously noisy app? You can quickly turn the sound down by holding down the "vol -" button until it is muted. The lock orientation can also be configured to mute your device.
