Have you ever lost an important item and felt terrible? Well, you don't have to worry about this with your iPad thanks to its "Find My iPad" option. It will allow you to track your iPad to wherever it is located and you can also delete whatever you want from a location that's remote. Some people do not like the phone to track where there are, but this feature definitely has more benefits than negatives. There are some simple strategies that you can use to maximize the battery life on your iPad. Avoid storing it in hot areas, like a car. Keep the brightness as low as is comfortable. When you won't be using the Internet, use airplane mode. Switching Push to off can also help. Simply check email manually. Determine whether you wish your lock key to just lock tablet orientation or mute sounds. Remember that earlier iPads are not able to do that. Running iOS 4.3+ will give you this option. Using the volume button on the side works to mute the iPad, too.

USB outlets don't always have a lot of power, and front ports tend to be the lowest of the bunch. If you are still having problems, get a USB adapter that plugs into a wall outlet. You can use iPad to listen to iTunes. There is a simple way to access your iTunes account without having to reinvent the wheel on your new device. Just use Home Sharing, enabled on the computer and the iPad. The last step is going to the shared area of your Music app to play them. Enjoy! Double-clicking the home key will allow you to change open apps very quickly. Click on the app you want to switch to and you'll be there in a snap. If you want to return to your previous app, simply do the same thing again.

By controlling your notifications, you can avoid constant alerts. That helps you when you want to get alerted from something important. Don't forget that you don't need a power outlet to charge your tablet. You can also use an USB port. In other words, if you are out, you can charge it through your laptop. Use tabs to do many different things in your browser at once. Using tabs allows you to follow links and visit other sites without closing what you are doing. Hold the link and a list of options will appear. Choose "open link in new tab" so that both the new page and previous page will remain open.

This means you don't have to root around in the menu just to find your bookmarks. There are two ways you can view PDFs on the iPad. You can sync your iPad and iTunes by putting the PDF in iTunes, or you can simply email it to yourself. Use both methods so you can determine which one is best for you, or make use of both as you see fit. Since the iPad can be enjoyed by the entire family, if you have young children, you might want to take advantage of the parental controls. FaceTime is great for getting email and keeping contacts. When it's on default, FaceTime on the iPad includes the email you set up with your iPad, but it's possible to add more. If there are several phone numbers or emails that you need FaceTime to know, set them up inside your iPad settings. Do you think it is tiresome to scroll when you are accessing the Internet from an iPad. Tapping on the bar found at the topmost part of the page will return you to the webpage's top immediately rather than scrolling up, thus saving you some time. This works in some other programs, also. Share podcasts with your family and friends. You do not even have to quit listening to share podcasts. You can continue listening while you share. You can select the email button as you're still playing the podcast. You'll have the opportunity to pick recipients and send it right away.
