Has your iPad been slowing down, not loading things as quickly and taking longer to download apps? Even when you delete unnecessarily stored data and information on your iPad, it is still too slow. Additionally, you could transfer photos and media to the cloud so that you will have more space on your device. This gets your iPad back up to speed. It can be really annoying to have your iPad chime every time you receive an email. Are you aware that this can be turned off? Under the Settings menu, choose "General". You should then select the Sounds menu. In this area, you will be able to adjust your sound settings for NEW MAIL. Do you hate seeing constant notifications for connecting to a Wi-Fi network? If yes, you can turn it off. Simply go to your settings, tap on Wi-Fi, and turn off the feature that asks if you want to join networks. If you would like to join networks later on, fear not. This can easily be achieved, but you won't have to deal with high numbers of notifications in the interim.

Do you dislike Google search on your iPad? You can switch it for another. To do this, you'll need to open up your Settings menu, tap Safari, and then Search Engine. Find your search engine on the list and make the selection. Your choices will be Bing, Yahoo or Google. You can change alert notifications that you get for Wi-Fi networks with ease. Go to Settings and then Wi-Fi and look for Ask to Join. Choose it and you won't have to worry about so many notification. Lots of people hate having to see the percentage of their iPad's battery charge. Removing this can improve the appearance of your device. Just select Settings, tap General, then tap Usage. You will find an option to turn it off. Repeat the process to turn the icon back on.

If you are going to be sharing your iPad with others, be careful which pages you visit on Safari. You would not want anyone to see anything personal that you were viewing. The browser instantly loads the last viewed page. If you need to, go to a website that you won't mind others seeing before showing them how to use the iPad. Soft reset your iPad if it freezes. Just hold the power and home button at the same time and for a few seconds to do this. The device will restart. To force close an app, just hold down the home button until it closes. Do you want to get to your most popular apps as fast as possible? Click on your home button two times, and your apps will show up on your screen. This tip can save you lots of time because you don't have to manually scroll through each screen.

Add extra email addresses and phone numbers to FaceTime. By default, FaceTime on your iPad will include the email that you set the iPad up with, but you can add more. If you need FaceTime to recognize additional numbers or addresses, it is possible to use the "settings" area to accomplish that. You don't have to send your photos via email anymore. You don't have to send them via email attachments anymore. Simply head to your pictures, select those you wish to share, hit the arrow at the top right corner, then select "email" to send with ease. Are you aware that you are able to add dates from your old Google calendar to your new iPhone calender. All you need to do is go into your Settings, click on Mail, choose Contacts, and then hit the Calendar option. Choose Add An Account then press Other. Then press the Add CalDav Account option and enter the necessary Google credentials.

If you need to change the volume on your iPad, go to the Settings function, General tab and the Sounds option. Be certain to select Change With Buttons and click this setting to On. This will enable your volume buttons. The volume slider helps adjust your volume as well. Do you hate having to tap the bookmark icon in order to open your bookmarked sites? All you need to do is turn on your bookmark bar. Go to your Settings screen, click Safari and then go to Always Show Bookmarks and switch this to the On position. Do your eyes feel like they are straining when you read on the iPad? Remedy this by adjusting the brightness level of the screen. Access Brightness in the Settings, or use the slider in the iBook app to dim the level.
