To stop dictation, just press the key again. The second time converts to text, which is a very convenient feature for you to use. To show all of the apps that you have running, you'll need to double tap the Home button. You will see a bar complete with all applications currently running, which can then be accessed by hitting the relevant icon. This will help you remember what apps are running and let you close the ones not in use.

iPads now support folders. To do this, press and hold on an app for a while, and it will start to jiggle. Then, drag the app over the top of a different icon and release. When you do that, it creates a folder containing the two apps and labels them with an appropriate category. You can rename the folder, if you like. Swipe with one finger toward the right and your picture or your video will be displayed. To view previous photos you have taken, just keep swiping to the left. Rather than tap the link, push down on it and options will appear. Next, open up the link with a new tab. This will let you keep the page you are on and open a new one.

If your volume buttons are unresponsive, go into settings and select General, then Sounds. Make sure Change With Buttons is set to On and your buttons will work. The volume slider helps adjust your volume as well. You can adjust your email settings to allow you to increase the number of lines displayed in preview. Open the settings app, then choose "mail" on the left side. Next, tap on the "preview" setting. Select the number of lines you'd like to see. Now it is possible to preview more content from each message, making skimming quicker. Did you know that the iPad has the ability to cut and paste snippets of text? Select the text you wish to copy after tapping the screen. All you have to do is tap it once and then copy. To paste the text, tap the screen, holding your finger down until option to paste appears. Tap on 'paste' and your text should appear!
