About Me
I’m just someone ordinary who likes to blog about extraordinary things. My blog is an escape from my life. Just like anyone else out there, sometimes life can get really tough. It’s really nice to have a place to escape.
Here are some things I love (other than blogging):
Music – I love how music can change my mood in an instant. Jazz is perfect for a rainy day at home. Classical music is perfect for reading. And techno is excellent for exercise. Music can also make my body move, releasing all my body’s tension.I don’t know how I can live without music. I take my iPod everywhere.
Chocolates – It’s sweet, it’s fatty, but it’s oh so addictive. I love chocolates! I can’t go a day without them. I eat them after lunch and after dinner and in between. They’re a little piece of heaven.
Books – Books are another form of escape for me. The benefit of books as an escape is endless. It’s light, portable, long-lasting and exciting. I grew up with books as my best friend (yes, I’m a bookworm). Many years later, it’s still there when I need it.
Going to the Movies – Okay, I might sound like an ‘escape’ nut. But movies is also a form of escape for me. I love how I can forget about my life and become engrossed in some character’s life for about two hours.
Walking in Nature – I’ve been a city girl all my life. But luckily, in surburban Sydney, there are loads of nature abound. I love walking in my neighbourhood, where there are loads of trees and parks. You can even do bushwalks nearby. And if I get really stressed, the Blue Mountains is only an hour and a half away.
The Rain - I love the smell, the sound and the feeling of rain. I find it really romantic, and I don’t know why. A perfect afternoon would be staying at home with a cup of tea, reading a book while it’s pouring rain outside.
Paris- I love this city. I’ve been there quite a few times but I didn’t feel like it’s enough. The longest I’ve stayed there was one week. My dream is to stay for at least a year and just absorb the culture.
Autumn – My favourite season. Summer in Sydney is hot and humid. Winter is a bit too cold for my liking. I hate wearing loads of layers. And spring means hay fever.
Baking - I love to bake. It relaxes me. I love how mixing eggs with butter, sugar and flour creates somethings sweet and beautiful. I hate cooking, it feels like a chore to me. But baking is a totally different story.

Oh- your my soul-mate! Apart from the Paris part- now you know you would prefer Tibet or Egypt, own up!
with love Caroline x
Tibet or Egypt? Maybe Tibet…because it’s supposed to be a peaceful place. Can I choose both? I’d like to see the pyramids as well.
Of course! Although can we stop off at Italy?- I’m looking for a husband.

Do you also like music, books and movies?
Loved the pics of Jeff. I’ve been a JDM fan since his ‘Burning Zone’ days..
I love JDM as well. I’ve been a fan since I saw him in ‘PS I love You’. I know he has a small role there, but it really stuck on me.
Man I love your blog, and its nice to your a fellow Sydneysider
I agree that Guillaume & Marion are the great couple ever!
Thanks for following! It’s always great to hear from a fellow Sydneysider.
I love this blog and because you are a Natalie Portman fan I already feel we are kindred souls.
I find only strong, intelligent and independant women really get Natalie unlike fanboys who objectify her.
Again nice blog.
It’s always nice to hear from another Natalie Portman fan

Hello there! I stumbled upon your blog while looking up an Aaron Johnson photo. As a fellow blogger, I love the whole feel of your blog, it’s classy, simple and entertaining at the same time. You have a good taste in the photos you use for your posts too! Keep up the good work!

Hi Abshire, thanks so much for dropping in and also for your lovely comment about the blog. I really appreciate it. Cillaxx
Hi, Cilla! I am from Wikipedia, the free Internet encyclopedia and I would like to use your photo of Eva Green at http://cillaben.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/eva1.jpg for illustrating her article at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eva_Green. We at Wikipedia only accept photos licensed under Creative Commons Attribution (read the terms at creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ ), Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike (read the terms at creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ ) or GFDL (read the terms at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GFDL#Conditions ) licenses, so I was wondering if you could permit to use your image under one of those. Each of those licenses will give anyone the right to share, and, where appropriate, to change your work, but you must be credited as the image’s author. As was said, your photo would be used for encyclopedical and not any other purposes (I will just crop it for article use). If conditions of my offer suit you and you agree to release the photo under of mentioned licenses, reply back by saying “I agree to release the photo “eva1″ under the terms of Creative Commons Attribution/Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike/GFDL (choose only one license for your image)”. Thanks!
Sincerely,
electroguv
Hi there, sorry but the pictures on my site aren’t mine ( unless it’s specified) and I don’t have the authority to let anyone use them. I’m really sorry about that.
I really like the way you put photographs with each thing you love, it makes it interesting and real when learn about someone when you can actually visually see the things they like.
Hi Mina, thanks for your comment. I think those pictures are so pretty, that’s why I chose them
Makes the post a lot more colourful.
