‘The Artist’ wins big at the Cesar Film Awards

Cesar is the French equivalent of The Oscars. Of course, they will honour ‘The Artist’. They won six awards last night. That makes complete sense. After all, this French silent movie is deemed to sweep most of the Oscars on Sunday night.

Famous actresses of the 1990s – what are they up to now?

Well, quite a lot of them are still in the movie industry. But some of them moved on to various small TV roles. Some of them just disappear from the limelight. I guess Hollywood can be quite brutal sometimes.

1. Meg Ryan

She used to be the queen of romantic comedies of the 1990s. When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, You’ve Got Mail – she’s in all of them. So what she’s doing now? Not much, actually. But compared to Demi Moore, I think she’s doing really well. It’s probably good to stay away from the limelight.

A Taylor Swift and Zac Efron promote their new movie, ‘The Lorax’.

Robert Pattinson, Holliday Grainger & Christina Ricci at the premiere of ‘Bel Ami’ in Berlin

Bel Ami looks like an interesting movie. I wonder when it’s going to get shown here in Australia? Anyway, it’s interesting to see Robert Pattinson re-united with his ex co-star, Holliday Grainger. She certainly looks pretty here. Oh, and Christina Ricci is really working her gown.
