Do you ever need a quick screenshot? It is far simpler than you may have imagined. Just press the HOME button. Next select the SLEEP/WAKE button. This will cause a flash, indicating that your picture has been taken. It'll save automatically, then you can find it in the Photos app. The iPad comes with a few apps that you're probably not going to want to use. Many of them cannot be deleted. Instead, stick these unused apps into a folder together and move them to a location where they won't bother you. This will allow you to focus on what you do use much more. This allows you a high level of flexibility and comfort with your device. Have you ever mistakenly opened a noisy app? The volume can quickly be muted by holding down the decrease volume button. If you use mute often, you can set the lock orientation key to act as your mute button. You can listen to music on you iPad, and you can listen to podcasts, too. You can find radio programs lasting from two minutes to two hours on any subject. When music loses your interest, podcasts can provide alternative entertainment. You are sure to find any number of topics that interest you.

Watch what apps you have running. Some apps can continue to run simultaneously with other things on the iPad. If you would like to view the current apps that are running, double click the Home icon. A bar with open and recently-used apps will appear at the bottom. After you have a chance to look through everything, simply swipe down and the bar will go away. A lot of people find it difficult to type on tablets, but over time, it gets easier. The iPad does offer a dictation feature, however. Just double click your home button and you'll then want to tap on the microphone icon. When you finish talking, press the icon button again and you will see your words appear as text. When you use the iPad to stream a lot of media content, such as watching movies or listening to music, you will notice that the battery does not last as long. Your battery will last longer if you reduce the brightness of your screen. It is unlikely that you will prefer the brightest setting and the improvement will be worth it.

Isn't it irritating when you encounter a hyperlink on your iPad, and you are unable to determine where it will take you? You can fix this easily. Since you cannot hover over the word like you can on your computer, you can just simply touch and hold the word. That will show you the URL from the hyperlink. While you may not think it is necessary, it is always smart to put a security feature on your iPad. It's always possible that you could lose it, and your iPad typically contains lots of personal information, such as phone numbers, emails, and maybe even your bank information or social security number. The iPad doesn't come with a manual. You must download one if you require it. Apple doesn't want to kill trees so they encourage the download option instead.

You will see that today is presented in blue. It is easy to access all of the running apps on your iPad.
