In order to extend your iPad's battery life, turn on the auto-brightness feature. The iPad senses ambient lighting and makes necessary adjustments automatically. This can help extend your battery life, increasing your production during the day. You can change it in "Brightness & Wallpaper" within the settings. Say you don't want to leave your home screen, but you do want to move from app-to-app. All you have to do is double-click your Home button to see which apps are running. Tap the icon of the app you need and you'll be taken directly to that app. To get back to the application you were using previously, you just repeat the process. Any applications running at the time will be shown at the screen's bottom in a bar. Swipe down in order to eliminate the bar after you finish. Is your iPad screen getting scratched? The iPad's screen is resistant to damage, however, if you are starting to notice little scratches, it is time to apply a screen protector. It protects both your iPad and your fingers from getting scratched. Wi-Fi notifications can quickly become irritating, so change them in the settings application. You'll see the option about Joining Networks. By choosing that option, you will never again be bothered by the invitations.

Make sure you store your most critical items on the cloud as well as the device. The same light settings are not necessary when you are in different environments, which is why you are given the option to change that. You can choose another search engine with a minimum of fuss. From the Settings menu, choose Safari and then choose Search Engine. You will have a list of search engines to choose from. You can choose from Bing, Yahoo, or Google. Add extra email addresses and phone numbers to FaceTime. The default option is to use FaceTime with your primary email, but this can be changed. Go to the settings area on your iPad and set up your FaceTime for numbers and emails.
