Do you get tired of constantly scrolling on your iPad when you are on the Internet? You can easily navigate around a page on your iPad. If you want to go to the top, for instance, just hit the top bar located on the page. You can do this in other apps that require scrolling too. You may want an iPad-compatible external keyboard. If you will be doing a lot of typing on your iPad, whether that be emails or documents, an external keyboard can be a huge timesaver. You can find keyboards that connect to the iPad as a wireless device, and these work better than the keyboard that comes stock with the iPad. Open new webpages using a new tab to keep your current webpage open. When you're in the Safari browser, tap the link and hold it until the menu for options appears. Then just pick to open the page in a brand new tab. You'll still have your other page handy. Use tabs to do many different things in your browser at once. You no longer have to surf away from the page that you are currently looking at in order to follow a particular link somewhere else. Just hold the link rather than tapping it. This will give you a menu of options. Next, open up the link with a new tab. This will let you keep the page you are on and open a new one.

If your side volume buttons aren't changing your volume, you'll have to go into Settings, General, and select Sounds. Turn on the Change with Buttons option and your volume buttons will become usable. There is also a volume slider here where you can fine-tune the volume. Do you have an Apple TV along with an iPad? If so, you can stream iPad content to your television. Check the Airplay icon to find out what is available for streaming. Simply tap it, and the content that you are looking at will show up on your television screen in just a few seconds, whether it is a video or a slideshow. Google Calendar can be added to the iPad Calendar app. Just click "settings" followed by "mail" and then "contacts" followed by "calendars." Click, then add an account, then select Other. Once you have done this, use the Add CalDAV Account option and enter the Google log-in info.

There are forums specifically geared toward problems should you run into one. You can now create folders with your iPad to store valuable information. To begin, tap and hold your finger on an app until it starts jiggling, drag that app on top of another icon, and then let it go. Doing so creates a folder containing both of these apps. You can easily rename your folder. Are you becoming tired of the constant Wi-Fi notifications? You can turn this off to get rid of this annoyance. Under Wi-Fi in the Settings menu, turn the "Ask to Join Network" switch to "Off." Do not worry if you would still like to join a particular network. This will only eliminate the notifications that you will get.

When your password is entered 10 times, your iPad erases - is this a function you'd like to turn on? Doing so will completely wipe your phone after 10 attempts.
